By accessing or using ManaHalal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Service Description

ManaHalal provides:

• A platform to discover halal restaurants and food establishments
• User-generated reviews, ratings, and photos
• Location-based search and recommendations
• Community-driven halal certification information
• Tools for Muslims to share and find halal dining options

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Do not share your account with others
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. User Content

Content You Submit

By submitting content (reviews, photos, ratings), you:

• Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content
• Confirm that you own or have rights to the content
• Agree that your content may be used by other users to make dining decisions

Content Standards

Your content must:

• Be honest, accurate, and based on genuine experiences
• Respect Islamic values and community standards
• Not contain hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
• Not include personal information of others
• Not violate any laws or third-party rights

5. Prohibited Uses

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.

You may not:

• Post false or misleading information about halal status
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the service
• Scrape or collect user data without permission
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings
• Post spam or commercial advertisements
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations

6. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The ManaHalal name, logo, design, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our written permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us license to use it as described in Section 4. You may delete your content at any time through your account settings.

Third-Party Content

Respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not post copyrighted material without permission.

8. Disclaimers

Service Availability

We strive to keep ManaHalal available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

While we work to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free. Halal certification status, hours, and menu items may change without notice.

"As Is" Service

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ManaHalal and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the service.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Errors or inaccuracies in content
• Personal injury or property damage
• Unauthorized access to our servers
• Interruption of transmission to or from our service
• Actions of third parties on the service

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ManaHalal, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Content you post on the Service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings.

All provisions of these Terms which should reasonably survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ManaHalal operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration association.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or in-app notification.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
